What could you achieve if you dare take that risk, that leap of faith, to embrace your dream, to just go for it?!
~ Jim Sebastian Sharman
A lot of this will depend on how you personally define “risk”, right? It might involve making a significant purchase, like a house, often said to be the single most important (and stressful!) purchase you’ll ever make.
Then you have other things like career change, a marriage proposal, taking a course, riding a bike again after an accident or giving feedback to someone who needs to hear your reality……or writing a daily motivational piece online, always a risk putting your own thoughts ‘out there’! 🤪
If you do nothing, then the absolute best that can happen is that events conspire to go in your favour – such a passive way of trying to achieve what you want from life!
Instead, at times, you need to take a very deep breath and go for what you want – you might have planned and worked and strived and saved and learned for years and years before you reach the point where the ultimate decision needs to be made – and the chances of it working increase dramatically when you make that decision positively and decisively.
Think for a moment about the last time you took a risk in order to achieve a goal – then ask yourself how successful you think might have been if you had ‘played it safe’ instead.
Risks should, of course, always be weighed up – but sometimes you just reach the conclusion that without taking the leap, nothing will progress…..
What risk are you prepared to take today that will propel you towards achieving your aims? Love and light, 🙏
